Typically, long HDMI runs can suffer signal degradation, appearing as a loss of resolution, sparkles, ringing, and synchronisation problems.
Once the SE150 is connected in-line, HDMI or DVI cables can be run up to distances of 150ft (45m) using standard HDMI / DVI interconnects.
The SE150’s proprietary signal equalizer technology effectively removes the unwanted TMDS signal noise and preserves the vivid colours and extended dynamics of HDMI / DVI digital video signals.
The design is such that, irrespective of cable length, the SE150 provides a substantial improvement in overall picture quality, with visibly lower background noise and increased contrast range.
Two versions of Signal Enhancer are available: HDMI - HDMI or DVI - HMDI.
The SE150 is HDCP compliant and compatible with all video resolutions up to 1080p, PC resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 are also supported.
